The Fun Never Stops Whenever or Wherever You Are in South California

While there are no legal boundaries that set apart South California or SoCal to the northern part, it is known to both locals and tourists that the region is composed of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Ventura.

Los Angeles and San Diego are among the region’s most heavily populated counties. In fact, Los Angeles sets the record as the second most populous city in the entire United States. Because of the rich population of each county, it is more likely to find a higher number of entertainment centers in each place. Entertainment in South California is quite richer and more vibrant compared to the other places abroad with similar population size and land mass. Take entertainment in Adelaide for example.

Malls and Concerts Galore

SoCal can offer all the sorts of things that you can to get entertained. In Los Angeles alone, there are so many attractions that you can choose from. For one, you can go to Venice and watch the sunset or attend beach parties. There are also plenty of destinations including the Getty Center, Hollywood, Griffith Park, California Science Center, Los Angeles County Museum, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Hollywood Bowl and Staples Center. If you want to stay in San Diego, there are plenty of places you visit too, including its beaches, San Diego Bay, El Cajon, and USS Midland Museum.

There are also a great number of music festivals that hit some of its counties during summer, Labor Day, and county events. You can also fill your stomach with sumptuous food during food fares conducted mostly in Summer. There are at least 8 food festivals celebrated across SoCal, like the Gator by the Bay in May, California Strawberry Festival, Sancocho Latin Music, Dance and Food Festival, and LA Times – The Taste.

Plenty of Nature Parks to Choose From

There is a wide range of things you can do in South California apart from enjoying visits to the malls and going to concerts including hiking in the vast mountain ranges of Santa Monica, Big Bear Lake, Rancho Camoanga, and Anza Borrego Desert State Park. You may also enjoy a sun tan in any of its beautiful beaches in Huntington beach, Imperial beach, Solana beach, Long Beach, Fullerton, La Mesa and San Clemente. If you’re a fan of the great outdoors then you can try camping out by the Twentynine Palms, Upland in San Bernardino, Yermo, Deep Creek Hotsprings, Lakeside in San Diego, and Warmer Springs California. There are plenty of places you can visit to do horseback riding, golfing, backpacking, cycling, snowboarding, playing sports, star gazing and fishing as well. There are also some waterfalls that you can visit while you are in Ramona, San Diego.

Whatever hobby or interest you have, there are so many things you can do while you are in SoCal. It’s just a matter of planning where and when to go and choosing what sort of activities you prefer.
