Justin Moore in Concert

JMJustin Moore is busy as ever, performance schedules are booked everywhere. He will be in California with Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett for the following dates: August 8 at Sleep Train Amphitheatre (Wheatland) and August 9 at Shoreline Amphitheatre (Mountain View). For more info, check MusoTickets.

A “New Artist of the Year” ACM nominee, Justin Moore was seen performing at Elliott Hall of Music on March 13, Thursday night. The concert was co-sponsored by SCC and Purdue Convocations. Laura Clavio (Assistant Director, Purdue Convocations) states that the event was highly anticipated, especially among young country music fans, no doubt, due to the fact that Moore is one of the hottest rising country music artists in the U.S.  Indeed, students felt they got their money’s worth. Tickets were sold affordably (US $37).

Justin has produced numbers of hits, his music and style is fresh and full of life; and his music is penned with lyrics that really hit home, not only in the case of young music lovers but also with older listeners. A freshman in the school’s College of Agriculture mentioned that when her grandmother passed away, Justin’s song, ‘If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away’ was on her mind and heart for quite a long time.

Randy Houser and Josh Thompson have joined Justin Moore for the performances as part of the tour ‘Off the Beaten Path’, and this event at Elliott Hall of Music is part of the tour sked. The tour promotes his currently released album (of the same name). Moore tells Taste of Country that Off the Beaten Path was the most diverse album he’s ever done. With regards to his stage companions, Moore counts them as two of the most talented singers-songwriters in the country music realm.

Justin Moore’s roots would be country music but he is surely unafraid to spice things up a bit. He hails from Arkansas. In the short time he’s been on the music scene, lots of good things have unfolded for him. Among his hit songs are ‘Small Town USA’, ‘Point At You’, and the currently trending song “Lettin’ the Night Roll.”
